Power and Performance
The Mazda CX-5 is the sporty and capable SUV you’ve been waiting for. It has two engine options: a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 2.5-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine, which means up to 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The Nissan Murano comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces up to 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque.

Cargo and Towing
All of the power in the 2023 Mazda CX-5 translates into real-world capability. Both models offer seating for five passengers. But this new Mazda SUV takes it a step further, with up to 2,000 pounds of towing strength and 30.8 cubic feet of cargo space when the seats are in use and 59.3 cubic feet of cargo space when the seats are folded. In the Nissan Murano, you’ll find just 1,500 pounds of towing capability.
