Whether you drive one of the Mazda SUV models in our new car inventory or another body style, you’ll love the way your Mazda vehicle handles the road. Mazda automobiles have long been known for being fun to drive and our lineup for the 2020 model-year will push that reputation forward.

One thing that can negatively influence your Mazda car’s performance is its alignment. When a vehicle is out of alignment, it won’t handle the road as adeptly as it normally does. Because a misaligned automobile typically consumes more gas and will cause your tires to experience excessive wear, it can negatively impact your ownership experience because it will drive your cost of ownership up for all the wrong reasons.

Your vehicle may or may not show any signs that it’s out of alignment, often depending on how severe the misalignment is. If an automobile is out of alignment, it may pull to one side, force you to hold the steering wheel off-center even when you’re traveling straight, or emit squealing sounds from its wheel wells.

When a car is only slightly misaligned, it may not exhibit any of the signs you just mentioned. While that’s the case, a minor misalignment can still result in a higher cumulative gas bill, tires that need to be replaced prematurely, and preventable wear on parts included in your steering and suspension systems.

Even if your automobile isn’t showing obvious signs that its alignment needs work, you should schedule an alignment inspection at our Mazda service center near Lehigh Valley, PA at least once per year, although every six months is preferable. If you do notice any of the indicators mentioned above, you should bring your vehicle to our location as soon as possible.
